Another Dog Picture

After posting the photograph of the Howells family dog at a wedding, I was looking through my baby photo’s and noticed the first one is of me with my grandmother, taken when I was just six weeks old.  It must have been mid June 1958, in her back garden in Shoreham-by-Sea.  I have never noticed until now that there is a dog at her feet!  Is it the same dog as the one at the wedding, or the one walking out with my mother as a girl?  Maybe it’s a son or daughter of that dog!

There are two other photo’s taken at the same time.

  1. I love old dog photos. At one time I intended to frame a few of them together and had them copied in a sepia finish. Then I made a frame of old houses instead of the dogs, but you reminded me I still have those dog photos!

    • I love photos! I have so many around my home, grouped in different ways. Above my desk I have a collection of my family descendents looking down on me! That’s a really good idea of yours to frame old houses, they also hold a lot of memories don’t they.
