The Wrong Name

I have to make a correction to the name of one of my family ancestors. It has come to my attention that Charlotte Robinson, the wife of John Dinnis, is in fact Charlotte Sampson. Which explains why I haven’t been able to find any documents about their wedding!  I’ve no idea why I thought her name was Robinson, but thanks to Keith (another member of the Dinnis family) I now have evidence that Charlotte Sampson and John Dinnis were married in Brighton, at St Nicholas Church on 28 December 1836. It’s so nice to have some concrete evidence and has reignited my interest in my family ancestry.
